Gomez' career as an experimental animator (1972-88) also includes the films Nigun, Isaac, Ancestral Lanscape, and The Enchanted Horse. These films and the filmmaker have won numerous awards and grants, such as an American Film Institute Fellowship, Best of Shows in USA Film Festival and Sinking Creek. The films are included in many anthologies and compilations. Currently Gomez is exploring new narrative expressions, combining her interest in graphic novel and animation. Stay tuned. |
